This 15 day tour takes you along the west coast of Portugal. You will travel from north to south through a variety of landscapes and nice towns.
Here too you will stay on quinta's of Dutch owners, one of the places you stay at is, resort Quinta dos Moinhos. Via Porto you travel south to the next destination Obidos. A cozy town from where you will discover this region full of cultural and historical sights. Continue along the Silver Coast, to the unspoilt western part of the Alentejo. You end this journey in the sun-drenched Algarve.

In the green North Portugal you will be warmly welcomed by Erik and José. You will stay in one of the attractive holiday homes at boutique resort Quinta dos Moinhos. The base from which to get acquainted with the World Heritage cities of Porto and Guimarães. Amarante and Braga are also definitely worth a visit. Several hiking possibilities, Serra do Alvão, Serra da Cabreira or the National Parque do Peneda da Gêres. Or rent an electric bike and make a beautiful trip on the Ecopista do Tamêga. After all these activities, relax in the sauna or hot tub and the saltwater pool will cool you down! In the evening you can use the table d'hote.
Your next destination is on the west coast in the Estremadura where you will stay at Irma and Oskar Quinta da Olivia in the famous town of Óbidos. Discover the beautiful town and enjoy the spectacular views of the castle. Obidos is an excellent starting point to visit the many historical sights such as Alcobaça and Tomar, but Lisbon is also easily accessible from the quinta. A day to one of the beautiful beaches on the Costa da Prata should not be missed.
You travel further via the west coast of Portugal to the flatter rolling landscape of the Alentejo. Christine and Nuno from Casa Verdemar welcome you on their estate, surrounded by fascinating cork oaks and olive trees. You can make trips to Santiago do Cacem, or the beautiful unspoilt coast with seaside resorts like Vila Nova de Milfontes and Porto Covo, or a walk through the mystical landscape with rice fields and flocks of sheep. After a refreshing dip in the pool, Nuno prepares a gourmet dinner, where after observing the beautiful starry sky, a well-deserved peaceful night awaits you. The first/last destination is located in the western Algarve, known for its most hours of sunshine and special light.
Your last destination is Quinta Paraiso da Mia, a small family business where Joy, Frans and employees look forward to welcoming you. The quinta is hidden between the greenery, in a quiet area, a few meters away from the beautiful sandy beach of Praia de Luz, which, despite the many changes, has managed to maintain its picturesque atmosphere. An excellent base from which to discover the caves of the unspoilt Portuguese coast. Or take the famous walk 'the seven valleys' that runs all along the coast, and enjoy great views.
Of course this tour can be adapted to your own wishes. Order of route can be changed due to availability. This trip can be booked all year round except for July and August.
